The package was delivered during a rainstorm and I wasnt home to bring it inside immediately, so the entire packaging was dissolved leaving all of the particle board pieces getting soaked out in the open. It should be customary to wrap all contents in plastic to avoid this but unfortunately they were not. As a result, of the pieces had swelled so much that it no longer fit in the grooves like it was supposed to and now the top of the desk is crooked and will probably fall apart if I ever have to move it. Considering the 3 hours it took to assemble I plan on throwing it out the next time I move. Also the instructions specifically state that you have to use a handheld screwdriver and no power tools, but for the average person its impossible to hand screw into solid wood, or whatever this refuse this is made out of. I was very slow and deliberate with my drill and yet most of the wood is splintered open and splitting in half with screws exposed. If youre looking for a hands on torture experience look no further, but if you want a comfortable functional desk I would suggest maybe checking a dumpster or the bottom of the ocean before ever buying this.
