It can be difficult to assemble. The holes for the screws on the back piece are covered by material, so whoever is assembling it better have some patience in getting the screws positioned. On my chair, one of the holes for the screw was not engineered correctly - it would not screw tightly in place. I am keeping the chair anyway - you get what you pay for.
