    Comfortable, sleek chair

I really like this chair! Its comfortable to sit in, sleek, looks retro cool. No one has spilled anything on it yet, so I cant speak to how it cleans up. Happy I bought them. -Its great how it raises and lowers, so I can use it at a counter or other tables. It doesnt lower that easily, which has pros and cons. Its great because you wont accidentally lower it while youre on it. Its a little annoying bc I have to sit right in the middle of the chair to make it lower. If Im to the side a bit, I cant lower it. My 9 and 12 year old kids also cant lower it because they dont weigh enough, I guess. I also cant push on it while standing next to it to lower it (not enough force). My husband has no problem with this. I have 2 of these chairs, and one lowers slightly better than the other. The other seems to get stuck and even when Im entirely in the center, I sometimes cant lower it. This is not a huge deal, but just be aware it requires some weight/force! -The base of the chair is relatively light. This is good for moving it around, but just be aware that if you lean over in this chair, it can tip over. This is true for any of this kind of stool, but I suspect some have a heavier base, making it a bit harder to do so. Both of my kids have already tipped it over when leaning or not sitting in the center of the chair. These are not the kitchen stools my children use primarily, and I wouldnt recommend them for light kids, but they just love the chairs and are always wanting to sit in them, just to hang out.
