An assembly problem on the companys side, but otherwise nice for basic needs...
I like this desk okay, but it was put together wrong on the companys end, so we had to alter our part a bit. The bottom piece already has a metal frame attached to it. This is where the legs are attached. What should be on the opposite side is a groove for a panel to fit into, which is what closes the back of the desk to give it a more polished look. This groove is on the same side as the frame, which means the panel would be hanging down underneath the desk(which wouldnt work anyway), as opposed to closing up the open space on the back. We cant move the frame or it would leave holes on the wrong side. We were still able to put the desk together, just without the back panel. Other than that, this desk works fine for simple purposes. I have it in my art room and its great for various crafting projects. Theres also a hole in the back part on top(which I now know is called a cable grommet). A plastic piece fits in there, which is meant for threading cords through. I would have actually preferred to have a smooth top, without the grommet, for more work room. I didnt see this part in the pictures until I knew to look for it. Overall, though, its a nice desk for basic needs.
