I was looking for a new bed when I come across this Full size Loft Bed. It doesnt take too long to assemble and everything lined up good. It shakes a little bit going up and getting into the bed but its very sturdy. I had my girlfriend over this week and we tried out the bed. It held up pretty well to activities we did on the bed. We are old folks (both of us are 44, Combined weight 290 lbs ) and getting up and down the ladder wasnt bad either. The problem I had was the ladder hurt my feet a little bit due to the width of the step. The steps are pretty narrow so to solve this problem I went to Lowes and purchased some 1 copper pipe rubber insulation( see picture). It comes split down the side with adhesive to seal it together. Its so much easier on the feet. Make sure its on there tight so it doesnt spin around and if you have to , just add a bit of glue to the top of the step to hold it secure. I used this mattress for this bed and it works perfect.
