It took a couple of hours to assemble, but wasnt too bad. The bed is sturdy and the fabric is pretty; we got the white tufted; its some kind of blend, but fairly natural looking (not too shiny). The only problem we had were a couple of spots - one on the top of the headboard and one on the frame. Too much trouble to send it back and my daughter didnt seem to mind, so we kept it. For the price, I would definitely recommend it. cute!!!!
