These beds have been in use for 5 years. Bought for my teenage daughters who were sharing a room.
Other than checking the tightness of the screws and bolts / about once a season / normal maintenance for any bunk bed / these have been a great purchase
I would suggest that if you have tall teenagers / my girls are 511 and 59 now / this might not be such a good choice! I have heard complaints of bumped heads
