It folds up and is very easy for me to carry out into the woods where I use it for photo shoots for wildlife, by a lake. other stools have legs that sink into the mud, but this chair supports my weight without getting stuck in the mud. I was using a padded bucket but that was cumbersome, bulky, and noisy. I am totally satisfied with this purchase.
