This will be the second of these beds that Ive purchased. Its great for kids. No sharp corners, it wasnt too bad to assemble and its very solid. But the best thing about it (to me) is that I can sit on the bottom bunk and not hit my head (Im 63); great for sitting down and reading bed/time stories. The second one is a replacement for a wooden bunk/bed I purchased for $600 at Ashley furniture. Im giving the old bed (which is about a year old) away to a friend of my wife and Im glad to be rid of it. The kids were constantly hitting their heads, arms and legs on the corners (lots of bruises).
