Very sturdy bed. Even though is a self-assemble bed, it is very solid. Highly recommend, particularly if you are looking for a bed to support two, heavier than average, adults. I did a lot of research looking for a sturdy bed. This is it. It does have a short headboard but measurements are clearly in the description. We ordered chocolate color and received caramel color, but both are attractive. It was packaged very well for shipping. Arrived in perfect condition. Beautiful, sturdy modern design
