It appears that made an attempt at IKEA-like furniture, where they pre-drill the holes and supply the hardware, so the customer can put the furniture together without to much trouble. However, they far from reached the mark:
The directions are not detailed enough (what side should be facing up), while orientation of this product definitely matters.
Some of the pre-drilled holes were too small, some too large, some not quite in the right location, and some not completely drilled out blocking hardware from going in.
A spring-washer was missing due to the poor packaging of the hardware.
Where IKEA products are always amazingly (near) square, the consumer will need a measuring tape to square the piece out before tightening the slats.
The quality of the wood leaves to be desired. I'm not certain it can support its own weight, let alone the weight of my daughter as she grows.
Two stars, because I bought it to be a bed, and it will serve that purpose for now. We'll see how long it lasts.
