First, I am a single 51 yo female with a bad back. The shipping box was super heavy so I opened the box in the driveway and carried individual pieces into the house. I assembled the drawers sitting at my kitchen table with a towel to protect the drawer fronts. I did use a drill to speed up the process, but Im pretty handy. I also used a hammer and flathead and phillips head screwdrivers. I assembled the dresser frame in my closet where the dresser was going to be. The frame was a piece of cake and assembled it by myself with ease. I did use wood glue on the dowels for extra stability. The dresser looks very nice and is perfect for storing lingerie and socks. I like it a lot!
