One of the reviews I read said it was solid wood, so I bought it. That person was not lying. I am very impressed with this set. Everything on here is solid wood, even the brackets used to mount things together. For the price I paid, I would not have been able to find something of this high of quality at this low of price. I would buy this 10 more times if need be.
