I read the reviews carefully, including the hints on how to assemble the bed. You really do have to pay attention to what direction the large pieces are going and where the holes are.
I did enjoy the old welded bunk beds, but I can understand that this is easier to ship. My husband used a tool to help with the little plastic pieces and found it worked well.
We bought this bed to expand a room in our house on Cape Cod. A couple can sleep on the bottom bunk and a child on the top. Saves space in smaller rooms.
