We really liked the look and feel of these chairs. Aside from durability, they were perfect. They swivel and raise, look nice, and feel comfortable.
We are a family of 5 with 3 children. We got the barstools to put at the bar, so they are in a place where they get everyday use - Not a day goes by without the kids being in these chairs. We got 4 of these in Dec 2018. By July, the weld joining the vertical bar to the base had completely come apart. It started to go in June but, about a month later, it had completely separated. There was no saving the chair. Photos attached.
The remaining 3 are squeaking and rocking at the same weld joint, so we know it is just a matter of time before they are done. It's a shame because we really liked these barstools.
Nice chairs, but the welds don't hold up
