We really like this bed. It's sturdy and the desk is solid - another bonus - when my daughter writes on it you can't see the marks! Also fairy lights from Ikea look especially magical because the cords fade inot the black bars. One downer - no entry area to the too bunk. My son has to throw himself over the railing to get on the bed.
