Overall great. I purchased 3 - 2 in this blue color for my boys, and 1 in the beige with nailhead teim for my daughter. They were all easy to assemble. In fact, my 10 year old daughter assembled her own. Im assuming its fine because she hasnt plumetted violently out of it yet. Theyre all a tad wiggly in the headboard area and you 100% need a boxspring. The original ad stated no boxspring was needed, but they seem to have changed that. To reiterateYOU NEED A BOXSPRING. Also keep in mind these measure a tad larger than traditional mattress and boxsprings, so your mattress is going to slide around a little. Easy fix with some puffy comforters tucked in. If this was something I purchased for myself as an adult, I probably wouldve returned it. But, these are perfect for kids, rentals, and people starting off. Overall good buy.
