Relatively easy to put together although instructions and labeling of bolts couldve been better. Overall, he likes it / a bit stiffer than previous chair, but thats expected.
Im a detail/oriented person, so I was a bit disappointed that some quality issues were ignored (see pictures: scuffed edge along chair base, nick on ottoman base, permanent finger prints / from someone checking for dryness during manufacturing process). The issues are small and not bad enough to foot the cost of exchanging it, but it still bugs me as theyre not hidden from sight and I expect gifts to be perfect.
