Directions were straight forward and easy to follow. Took about an hour to assemble. Frame is sturdy. We have carpet, doesnt make a sound. The best part is the ample storage under the bed which is why I picked this frame. Measurements are as advertised. You can see from the pictures if you have a lot of pillows on your bed, you may not see the head board. I have a deep mattress. I elected to get rid of the box spring. Overall very satisfied with this purchase. Great bang for your buck.
