I bought the queen black one for my older daughters bedroom and the twin she used to have went to my younger that had outgrown her toddler bed. It was well packaged, there was no damage at all. Everything fits perfect together. The bed is sturdy and I dont see that it can break easily as the wood is somewhat thick (more than the bed we had in the bedroom before). It is easy to assemble (I was able to do it alone in 1 hour). I got a 9 inches spring box and a 8 inches matress and it was the perfect height to not show the space between the slats and the bottom of the headboard.
