Its is a particle board. It was a pain to put together. The instruction was good. But they could have made it better by marking top and bottom side of the board ( yes that make a difference). I had to assemble and reassemble the whole thing twice because i found out i had put together the wrong side of the very first panel at the base. Their are no pre drilled holes. It is a particle board, so u make the holes was u screw the screws in. It needed physical labor.
