I bought the oval desk, then bought the two drawer for a second desk. The only surprise was that the two drawer requires full assembly. The oval desk arrived with the top already assembled (just add legs!) It took two people about an hour to put together, with one minor backtrack because we weren’t paying close enough attention to the holes. It’s sturdy, attractive, and looks like it will go the distance. It smells nicely of some kind of wood, too. Nice to not have a fake smell.
