Unassembled, it is very heavy. It takes two people to put it together (not all the components, but at least for attaching the doors). Made one mistake putting a brace on backward sand after I realized it, it was too late to fix, I'll cover the unfinished side with Contact paper. The doors and sides seem very flimsy, time will tell. I wouldn't buy it for anything heavy, but I needed it to keep dust off of crafting and sewing supplies which it will work fine for.
