At the end of the day it looks all right for an apartment, but I know the day will come when Ill be happy to throw this thing away or donate it. This thing was a bear to put together. Im talking if youre not an experienced carpenter you better plan on working on this thing for two hours. The wood is mealy in some places and the screws simply wont stay in. I had to re-drill probably six holes to get this thing to go together. Mind you this should not happen.
Secondly theres a lot of non-intuitive quirks that need to be spelled out very clearly in the directions so that someone can orient the pieces in the correct way so that everything is facing in the proper direction once everything is put together.
Finally, I wont lie, I wanted to give up in the middle and return this thing, but the companies return policy is so restrictive that it wouldve made more sense for me to just light it on fire in the backyard. So I trudged on and put it together .
The thing looks sturdy enough, but I am really annoyed whenever something is overly complicated and doesnt go together intuitively. Contrast this with some other products by the same company, this is 100 times more challenging. Im wondering if this is an old model which would explain why the word sucks. At any rate I think its overpriced but its decent enough
