    3 boxes, 3 kits

I received my sectional couch yesterday. Things to note; there are 3 boxes. Each box contains different sections / pieces of the couch. For example, box1 are the corner units, Box2 are two of the seats plus table, and box3 are the final two sections. it is MY RECOMMENDATION to only work on 1 box at a time! The instructions are basically picture grams that show you how to assemble the pieces. Assemble the pieces then place them to the side, clean the work area and open the next box and begin again. Total assembly time for ONE person is approx 2 hours. If you DO NOT have a drill with an allen wrench bit, then this time will rease significantly. The luded allen wrench and nut wrench can be used, but plan on a very log assembly time. Once all pieces are together, then I suggest that you arrange / re/arrange until you get the couch in the configuration you desire then use the clips to finalize the assembly. Here are some notes for the factory based on my opinion / 1) The clips are good, but once you clip the sections together and you add another section then the first set of clips tend to fall off. Its an endless loop unless you have someone to help. Simple solution is to use velcro on the inside of the clip to keep it in place. 2) The clips only attach to the bottom. What about the back support There is no clip or holding mechanism for the back risers. Suggest having a small piece of strip metal with pre/drilled holes that would allow the user to fasten the backs together. 3) The so/called feet of the couch are plastic Come on, you are going to put 300 lbs of weight on these plastic pieces. As soon as someone moves, I see these breaking. They should be metal. 4) As mention, the cushions will move. Someone suggested using velcro to keep them affixed to the sections. Not a bad idea until the velcro glue get mushy. I would think that a couple of tie straps would be better. All/in/all it is a nice piece for the price you pay. I recommend now, but im looking forward to see how the hot texas sun will affect the couch. I plan on scotch guarding the cushions as soon as possible. Hopefully this will help preserve them. I also found the same pillow that came with the couch at a home store. Purchased 3 extra pillows to help add to the beauty of the couch. I will look and add a pop pillow or two as soon as I find something that looks good. The possibilities are endless here. Picture attached is my current configuration.
