The bad: This desk was hard to put together, the instructions are printed TINY. I mean you will need a magnifying glass. Definitely read the instructions first. The pieces are essentially beefed up cardboard and the entire thing is held to together with Philips screws. I used a drill driver, but was sure to set the clutch to its lowest setting, because you could destroy these panels without even trying. One of the screws had a piece of stray metal jammed inside the slot, making it unusable. See pic. We had to do surgery on the screw to make it able to be driven. We had to be very careful throughout assembling.
The good: For the price, it was about what I expected. When fully assembled, it does feel tighter. It fits in the narrow space I had to work with and we like how it looks. I got this for my son to game on, and I only expect it to last a few years at most. Next time I will spend an extra 20 or 40 bucks and get him something a bit sturdier.
Decent inexpensive desk for narrow space
