Id recommend 2 people for install. I used the manual and the video when putting it together. I honestly would NOT recommend using a memory foam mattress on this unless its really firm. Mine was too soft and sagged through the slats. The metal is sturdy, no warping under the mattress like Ive seen others report. There was a good amount of rust flakes when I pulled the end pieces off of the head foot board so be prepared for that. I did have ONE hole that was stripped at the headboard and I couldnt tighten the screw properly. I could probably get a larger screw and use a drill. The little pieces they have in the corners to keep the mattress from sliding do not work, my mattress still slides.
Overall its a good purchase. I would recommend.
