We bought the stand for a desktop computer with CPU we move around the house. The CPU is 15 1/4 so a wee bit too tall for the bottom shelf. My husband got longer screws spacers to raise the shelf 1/2. Perfect. Secured all the computer wires in the back. It works perfect for our need. VERY impressed with how sturdy it is. Took us (He 83/me70)an hour to put it together. Relatively easy. We did take a potty break have to go find a Philips screw driver which added to our time. Younger people could do it faster.
