Nice affordable option for a standing desk

Lets see . I want a standing desk at home, but I dont want to spend 300 or more to do it. Oh! Look at this! An option for under 100! At first, I thought this would be way too cheap to work as a standing desk, but Ive been using mine for about six months now and its great. I thought the small desk surface would be a problem, but its actually been helpful in keeping me focused all the usual clutter goes on the shelves below and out of sight while Im working. Be aware that pretty much all youll fit on the top is a laptop and / maybe / a place to put down a glass of water / mug of coffee. You will, however, definitely need a coaster under that glass / mug because the material is cheap (see under 100) so will warp with too much condensation or heat. Cheap but still very functional. It went together in just an hour or so. It holds my MacBook Pro (with an eyeglass case to prop up the back and give some ventilation) and a cup of tea on the top. I have papers, books, and headphones stashed on the shelves below. Bonus: the wider shelf on the very bottom makes a great place to rest a foot now and then while youre standing. On the adjusting part yes, its , but no, you will probably not want to do any adjusting very often. I it to the height I wanted for standing when I first put it together and havent changed it since because it would mean messing with two different adjustment wheels and trying to get it level again. If (like me) you want to sit occasionally in between standing, Id recommend having your Mobile Laptop Stand near a comfy chair so you can pull the laptop onto your lap and work for a while. Set yourself a timer so you go back to standing, though. Last note / color options. Id say get the black finish rather than the fake wood look. There were a couple little chips in the pieces when it came out of the box and I might have dinged it a bit now and then when moving it (hurray for casters!) but with the black finish, I can just use a Sharpie marker to touch it up and voila / furniture refinishing on the cheap.
