Im not a mechanically inclined person. I bot this desk because I have a neck sprain and standing helps ease the pain. That said, the box arrived quickly, no damage. When I opened the box, there were no written instructions or pictures in which to build the desk. There were 5 different bags of screws, and parts labeled from 1/13. I could not ever find part number 3, so I assume I did it right.
Upon contacting , and having to deal with 6 different people, I was told: the manufacturer doesnt provide instructions; I should contact the manufacturer for instructions; I can pay and have assembly help me (I declined / dont think I should have to pay for a product with no instructions); Maybe I should return the product (it was in pieces all over the room)I was so frustrated I hung up after I was put on hold for the 7th person.
I sat down and eventually figured it out. Hopefully I did it right and it wont fall apart. The product itself, once I figured it out, was good. I am using it now to type this and its good for me. I would give the product a 5/star, the manufacturer a 2 for assuming everyone knows immediately how to build this, and a 1 for not providing good customer service and transferring me to 7 people and never getting help.
Be patient when building if not especially gifted in this area. I looked at the picture of the desk on the site as my guide, and the extra pack of screws as my learning guide on how to turn the round things to lock the screw in.
