The assembly was extremely simple. I thought it was very clever, too, how they stuffed the cushions into the bottom of the divan and stool. The couch did arrive broken, but I fixed it. The main thing is that the couch is much smaller in seating space than what the product details reveal.
All in all it is a very comfortable couch and very sturdy.
