Relatively easy to assemble, be careful with large TVs with a single stand rather than two feet.
Arrived undamaged, which is frankly a miracle considering the condition the box was in. The 70 stand came in the single largest and heaviest box I've ever seen for assemble yourself furniture as the top and bottom are single pieces. This led to much hilarity for onlookers as I attempted to get this into the freight elevator in my building and to my apartment by myself with only a hand cart. Assembly was not difficult aside from the size. But is manageable solo.
It looks pretty nice. I left the doors off because electronics need ventilation. It has a sort of midcentury look, which is what I was going for.
The negative is that it is not as sturdy as you'd think from the size and weight. I have a brand new Samsung Q80T TV on it, which according to the stats weighs 61.3 lbs. This is far under the max weight the manufacturer claims can be supported. However, there slight bowing of the top under this weight. This is likely because the stand for this TV is a single central foot rather than two feet at either end. This concentrates all the weight on a very small area in the center, which is not supported well over the shelf area. I may look into using a universal stand that will spread the weight out over a larger area with two feet. That is something to keep in mind though.
