Update: I liked it so much, I got a second one for the other corner of that space.
Easy to assemble. My helper and I had it together and the packaging mess cleaned up in about 2 hours, using only basic tools (screwdriver, hammer). A cordless drill fitted with an apex bit was also useful to save getting a cramp in my wrist, but it's not strictly necessary.
It's heavy, sturdy, the finish is durable and bright, and the SPACE inside is much more than it looks like from the description. In my picture, none of the shelves are even close to full and it's holding everything I used to keep in a tall pantry cabinet, plus the contents of one of my lower kitchen cabinets.
I do recommend this piece, but not if you're not good at assembling furniture in the first place. The instructions are entirely pictures with no written directions at all. Lay out your parts and hardware so you can see the numbers/letters on them, and go slowly, step by step, without skipping, and you should be fine.
A great alternative to remodeling the cabinets.
