This loft bed has more cons than pros to me: the ladder kills your feet, it's hard my skinny 5 year old to climb over the top end (there's no cut out like the one I had as a kid - my chubby 6 year old can barely do it), it's not super sturdy, trying to push the pl as sticker locks into place for every support bar made my thumb sore for a week (it took longer than any other part of installation), pieces aren't marked front or back and are pre-drilled for a desk (which we opted not to purchase) do it's a bit confusing, your child can never make their bed again. Pros - his record player, tv & dresser all fit underneath.
Overall, I wouldn't purchase another metal loft bed.
