I bought this for storage and to displays some wicker items I had. There is a small shelf above the 3 baskets. I measured it and found found that 5 little baskets available on fit perfectly. They come in a variety of colors. I was able to assemble this cabinet in about 45 minutes. It is heavy and sturdy. The joints are doweled and have metal hardware built in to receive the screws. So it is very sturdy. I can sit on it safely at 190 pounds.
