Sturdy plastic resembling wicker furniture. I ordered 2 sets of 2 and all arrived safely. On two loungers the moveable backs were disconnected but they were very easy to pop into place. They look beautiful on the deck. If you want to protect your investment, dont drag them around. Pick them up (one end at a time if necessary) to move. Very happy with my purchase.
Update - 2 years later and after 2 summers (and winters) in the Arizona sun they havent oxidized or faded at all. Nothing has broken. Zero maintenance. I admire them all the time and feel like Im living at a resort. Way to go !!
