Note that Im partially rating this patio set on the price. The price has been rising dramatically since March 2020. Before then I see some people got it for ~$100. At that price, its an incredible value even with the quality issues. I got it for ~$160. Still a good value. If it goes much higher than that, I might pass on it.
With that being said, this is a nice little patio set. Its not child small, but I wouldnt get it if you are a big person. As stated in previous reviews, there are some quality issues. Namely, the screw holes dont line up perfectly. Because of this, it took me about an hour to assemble versus what should be a 15 minute job. And you do have to use quite a bit of muscle and technique to accomplish this. If I was doing a second set, it would undoubtedly go faster.
Unlike some other Made in China furniture I have assembled, the holes in this set are actually in the proper locations. The problem is the metal is not bent at precise angles, so the holes do not line up in all the pieces. So you are holding and bending two pieces to get them to line up with one hand (and other available body parts) and screwing in the screws with a tiny hex wrench in the other. And you have be careful not to strip the threads otherwise then you are really screwed because the chair is probably unsafe to sit on at that point.
This is a pretty decent set for the price. The cushions are really cheap and thin, but I expected that. And they are easily replaceable. Outside I dont expect them to last long anyway.
