Each piece is separate so there are many combinations, whether you want one long sofa or a smaller sofa with some individual chairs. Works great. Would definitely recommend this sofa. Easy to set up and sturdy so far. Customer service was very responsive. Two of our panels had small defects from shipping and they quickly sent us replacement pieces without any issues.
