Was NOT easy to assemble lol took us about 3 hours. But it’s very sturdy and definitely opened up the space like I wanted it too. Got this for my brother in law so his bed and desk didn’t have to take up so much room. It worked perfectly for that. He’s 6 foot tall and can still sit up in the bed and I have 8 door ceilings. He has to lean down a bit to get underneath but he doesn’t mind. Overall happy with this purchase
