While definitely a two (or three is available) person job, the assembly was not overly challenging. I highly recommend using a drill with adjustable torque as otherwise it would be VERY challenging to hand tighten all of the screws.
The bed is very sturdy and the finish was practically flawless. The desk, while small, is perfect for my daughter especially with distance learning.
We did significant searching and researching for the perfect loft bed and am very pleased with our selection. I highly recommend this!
