Came with wheels but I didnt bother. I find this file cabinet to be perfect for my needs which are those of a guy running a household. It is sturdier than some reviews had me expecting and the lock is not for security but to keep maybe your kids from looking at some papers. Or to see that its been broken into. Im not storing any rings or twenties in it so I like the idea that it can easily be broken into. Better than a burglar throwing the whole thing in a trunk. Only to find a birth certificate and some unimpressive tax returns.
