Bought this along with a staircase. I wasn’t worried about the ladder comments since we knew we were getting the stairs anyway for getting in and out.
I couldn’t have been happier with this purchase. The bed was so easy to put together, I actually assembled it completely on my own (I thought I’d have to get my husbands help at a certain point but ended up not needing it at all). I also appreciated that it came with a whole package of spare parts, even though I didn’t need them.
The bed seems incredibly sturdy. Oh, and we also got the shelf accessory (not pictured). That works perfectly as well.
My only complaint is how hard it is to change sheets and make the bed, but such is the case with a top bunk ;)
