I doubt that there are any better cheap filing cabinets out there
You can either buy a really expensive wood file cabinet, or one of these. It looks OK in a living room or home office. The design flaw is that the handle for the bottom drawer is so low, you have to reach almost to the floor to open it. I guess they thought the aesthetics would be ruined if they put the handle in a convenient location. Both of our cabinets arrived slightly dented, but we really didnt care.
