So, I got this cabinet, it comes assembled for the cabinet, but you have to put the wheels on. Im fairly savvy when it comes to putting things together, so maybe I did a really quick read of the directions. I didnt find the directions to be quite dummy proof and had I not re/read the directions I could have messed up the installation of the wheels. Not a big deal, but took me a few extra minutes. So, the locking mechanism is a little light on true security, but it would keep your kids out. Because of the price, I dont think this is a safe, but a cabinet to keep honest people out. So, far it has worked good in my office, hasnt tipped over when I pull out just the top drawer, I have had some that did. Good value for the price, I would purchase again.
