Sturdy enough for a preteen, not sure about durability
I would give five stars when reading on customer service alone. The bed arrived missing several pieces, and one of the pieces was mis-drilled. I contacted Walker Edison through their website and received a response within a day. The individual pieces were out of stock however, the customer service rep offered to send a whole new bed free of charge for us too take the missing parts from.
This bed is good for kids and preteens. I'm not sure how it would hold up for anyone upwards of 200lbs. It was a pain to assemble, mostly because of the ceiling fan in the bedroom. However, given we needed it due to the small space, it's worth not being able to use the ceiling fan. There were missing pieces in our original shipment, including not enough washers or screws. If not for the second bed that came free of charge, we would have been forced to return it. It does wobble when someone is climbing up. We have not had to tighten any of the screws so far, after 2 weeks of use. There is no storage capacity, it is just a frame and a bed.
