This is a fantastic bed but I am so stupid for not measuring the thickness of my mattresses before purchasing. The trundle will not take a thick mattress but it's still fantastic quality. I definitely recommend this bed frame, just make sure you aren't an idiot like me and forget to measure your mattress!
