Both of these took me about five minutes to put together and most of that was just taking them out of the box. The legs are plastic and just twist into the bottom, then there are small ends for the bottom that twist in as well. As far as sturdiness goes, since the legs are plastic, Im not sure how durable its going to be...but it was a great price compared to other end tables.
