We recently purchased a large sectional with extra deep seats so I was looking for a large, deep accent chair that would not look awkward/small next to such a big couch. This chair is exactly what I was looking for. The seat itself is large, deep and SUPER comfortable. Its big enough that my 3 year old and I can sit together comfortably. Its sturdy and really seems to be a quality piece. The velvet upholstery is also great for pets because hair can be wiped off easily. I was looking at other options, but they were all more expensive and the lead time was 12+ weeks! This chair was much more affordable and arrived in 2 days! Assembly was easy too.
Update: After almost a year of pretty much daily use, this chair still looks great! My 2 small kids have spilled food and drinks on it, and it was easy to clean. Still very sturdy and comfortable. I would consider other products from this line in the future.
