Ill start with the positives. Once put together this product does feel sturdy and was kitted well with spare components and decent direction.
Now to some of the troubles. I ordered two of these units and had issues with both. I was able to work through most of the issue but did have to put in a help ticket for the others. Trusting they will handle that, contact info was right on the directions so props for making it easy to find.
The first issue was missing dowel holes on the base plate that were required to assemble the product. I check both sides and all the other components in case they were marked incorrectly (Photo Above). This is what I put the help ticket in for.
The other night stand had all the minor issues below. They werent terrible to work through.
/ Handles were loose with the screw fully engaged, had to add a washer I had laying around to get them tight. Made it feel much better after adding the washer.
/ Dowels were very loose fit and had poor engagement. I had to shin them forward to increase the engagement. Without that I wonder if it would feel as sturdy, maybe.
/ The hinges and screw holes for the hinges were out of place vs the directions on both the and mating board. They work, but arent in the right location and I believe it impacts the functionality. Pulled the whole thing apart once to ensure I have it together right and none of the boards were flipped. I suggest looking closely at the directions for this and reading ahead to save some head ache. Match the hinder screw holes with the flap before assembly.
/ Pre drilled screw holes did not have a deep pilot hole causing the potential to strip. Might have been easier to assemble the hinges, magnetic latch, and some of the s before installing the shelves.
If you are able to work through the above issues and assuming customer service replaces the board with the missing holes the product itself does look nice, feel sturdy and have decent value per dollar. Packaging also felt robust , wasnt concerned with components being damaged.
