    Not worth it

We got this bed for our 2 boys ages 4 6. Pros /A bunk bed gave them more room to play /My 4 year old liked having a window to look out of on the top bunk. A fun detail. Cons /Difficult to set up /Wobbly and needed reenforcement with screws /Slide was way too steep. Our boys shot down it like greased pigs and landed hard on the floor. They didnt like it. We didnt feel it was safe. The slide was the main reason we chose this bunk bed and we decided as a family to take it off the bunk bed. The slide is what makes this bed so much more expensive than other bunk beds. It is little more than a sheet of board! We hung it on the wall for the boys to use as a dry erase board since we definitely couldnt take the bed down and return it at that point. /The bottom bunk is not high enough for our 6 year old to sit up and read in bed comfortably. /With the tree window box it is very difficult to change the sheets. They need to be washed every week to 2 weeks and with little kids, youll be up there in the middle of the night like a squirrel trying to change sheets after a bad nose bleed, accidents, stomach bugs muttering to yourself why you bought this bed. /After 3 months we are accepting that it was a bad purchase and getting rid of it. Instead we are buying a matching Ethan Allen Walnut twin bed set with a nightstand off Facebook marketplace for 150. Yall I would not recommend this set. It is way overpriced for the cheap not real wood it is made from. The design is a pain in the long run to change the sheets and the slide is too steep for young children to enjoy.
